This
City centre practice have had air conditioning
installed in two surgeries approximately seven
years ago. The practice is now coming up for
refurbishment and the decision was taken to
install air con into the hygienist room and main
reception.
Our
problem was that the hygienist room is on the
third floor and reception is on the ground
floor. To obtain the cost benefit that is
provided by a twin-split system the external
condensing unit had to be mounted to the rear of
the property at high level to equalise the
distance between the treated rooms to maintain
equal performance from the indoor units.
The
external unit was winched into position to sit
alongside the existing unit.
The installation of one
FUJITSU AOY-24RSS "2 in 1" multi system now
provides cooling and heating into both rooms.
The Fujitsu system provides
independent control of each indoor unit so if
one room is being used the system only needs
power for that area. If both indoor units are
turned on there is no loss of total cooling
capacity.
The installation was
completed in a day.
